According to the formal statement, "An unusual meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome changes echo through the darkness." The storyline features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret group.
The questline centers on "bizarre trials and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
